This month's style tip is to encourage you to introduce some fun and playful prints into your home, courtesy of the new 'Melinki' range from Harlequin's sister brand, Scion. Moving into an autumnal colour palette, think egg yellows, ochres, rusty oranges and slate greys.

To create a real talking point in a family room and to liven up your day, try a large roller blind in Scion's Mr. Fox. Place sleek wooden furniture near by with a teak finish to introduce a Scandinavian feel. Pick out the key colours and add warmer tones with Scion's 'Blocks' for scatter cushions and other accessories. For more of a countryside feel, try Scion's 'Woodland' fabric an a simple set of eyelet curtains. To really make the most of this look, make large bean bags in this fun and playful fabric to create a relaxed chill out area for your children. Mark out an area on an easy to reach wall and paint with chalk board paint so that you and your family can write messages to each other or create mischievous illustrations!

• Storage - cover magazine files and storage boxes in the coordinating Scion wallpaper
• Artwork - your own, your children's or bought from Etsy - it doesn't matter, as long as its got character and it's a bit cheeky!
